…..was seen on a Fernwood balcony a few days ago.

Heard today in the woods south of Dogwood, a wood thrush  Hylocichla mustelina, an elusive bird with an enchanting song.  Per Thoreau, ” a man hears it, and he is young again.” An attempt to record it on a smartphone didn’t yield a usable result.
